Replacement of drive wheel with bearing
Step 1
Lower the drain cleaner arm to working height.
Step 2
If the hose is still between the drive wheels, roll it up, onto the reel.
Step 3
Disconnect the machine’s hydraulic and electrical connections from the tractor.
Step 4
Remove the bolts.
Remove the cover.
Step 5
Loosen the adjustment bolt (106901AS013) so the wheels move closer together.
Step 6
Remove the master link (106901BP125) from the chain.
Master link and link plate removed.
Step 7
Remove the chain (112202BP008).
Step 8
Remove the nut from the drive wheel (106901PA040).
Step 9
Remove the drive wheel with bearing (106901PA040).
The shaft with drive wheel and bearing (106901PA040) removed.
Step 10
Remove the nuts.
Now remove the sprocket (106901AS226).
Step 11
Clean the sprocket.
Lubricate with grease.
Step 12
Remove the bolts.
Now fit the sprocket (106901AS226) on the new drive wheel (106901PA040).
Step 13
Tighten the bolts for the sprocket (106901AS226), securing it to the drive wheel (106901PA040).
Step 14
Clean the shaft before placing the drive wheel (106901PA040/ 9820013.0) on the swing yoke (12202AS203).
Apply new grease to the shaft.
Step 15
Now place the drive wheel (106901PA040) with sprocket (106901AS226) on the swing yoke (12202AS203).
Tighten the nut on the shaft.
Step 16
Place the chain (106901BP126) back on the sprocket (106901AS226).
Step 17
Place the master link (106901BP125) and link plate back on the chain (112202BP008).
Step 18
Now fit the protection cover (112202AS004) and fasten it with the bolts.
Step 19
The machine is now ready for use.
