Replacement of flexible hose 106901BP072
Step 1
Unscrew the cleaner nozzle.
The cleaner nozzle is secured with adhesive. A blow-dryer will loosen the residual adhesive.
The cleaner nozzle (106901PA274) can be unscrewed with locking pliers.
Remove the residual adhesive from the double nipple with a steel brush.
Step 2
Detach the flexible hose.
Step 3
In some cases the parts are glued together. If so, use a blow-dryer to heat the residual adhesive.
Step 4
Now twist the flexible hose (106901BP072) off of the hose coupling (106901PA251) with locking pliers.
Step 5
If you want to have the replacement parts glued together again, you can use Loctite 243 or similar.
Step 6
When you reuse one or more parts it is a good idea to clean the parts, remove any residual adhesive and degrease the parts.
Step 7
Degrease the side of the coupling and apply Loctite if desired.
Step 8
New flexible hose
Step 9
Fit the flexible hose (106901BP072) on the hose coupling (106901PA251) again.
Step 10
Degrease the side of the coupling and apply Loctite if desired.
Step 11
Now screw the cleaner nozzle (106901PA274) back on the new flexible hose (106901BP072) using locking pliers. Make sure the cleaner nozzle is tightened firmly in place before the machine is used again.
Step 12
Flexible hose ready for use again.
