The hose tail 5/8″ is mounted at the end of the flushing hose. The hose tail is the connection point where the start of the flexible hose is connected. The hose tail is inserted into the HPE polyethylene flushing hose and secured with a clamping bush.
Please note that the thread on the hose tail can be damaged if no flexible hose is mounted.
